Four more sign with Storm

The Sioux Falls Storm, a member of the National Indoor Football League (NIFL), is proud to announce the signing of the following four players: Wide Receiver Pete Sterbick, Defensive End Nate Fluit, Corner Back Andre Fields, and Offensive Lineman Nate Scheuer. All of these players have local connections with Sterbick and Fluit currently finished up their career at Augustana this past fall, Fields as a former University of South Dakota standout, and Scheuer a previous All Conference player for South Dakota State. In addition, Fluit saw action as a Sioux City Bandit and played for the Bandit’s NIFL team in 2001.
“We are extremely fortunate to have signed on this level of talent”, stated Storm General Manager Colin Steen. Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs agrees and is excited with the latest Storm roster additions. “The signing of all of these players emphasizes our commitment to identify local talent and provide players an opportunity for further development to the next competitive level of football” Riggs said.
The Sioux Falls Storm has been a member of the NIFL for the past two years and is part of the Northern Pacific Conference. Storm action can be seen beginning on March 6th when the team visits Sioux City for a preseason game. The Storm hosts Casper Wyoming for the home opener slated for Saturday, April 5th.
