Cavalry announces Offensive Coordinator

Wyoming Cavalry Head Coach Tyrone Fittje announces the hiring of Dave Jones as Offensive Coordinator.

Coach Jones comes to the Cavalry with some impressive playing credentials. Dave is a 1987 graduate of Natrona County High School where his football skills earned him an opportunity to play college ball at Chadron State.

While at Chadron Jones led NCAA II in rushing his senior year, he also holds the Chadron State single season scoring record. In addition to those two major accomplishments Dave earned many national awards; Little All America Team, Finalist for the Harlon Hill Trophy, All American, RMAC All Star and Chadron State Most Valuable Player.

Coach Fittje is quoted as saying "the addition of Dave Jones to our offense is tremendous. We feel that he and Matt Strand will work well together to build a dominating offense.

Dave Jones holds a Masters Degree from Chadron State and is currently employed by the Natrona County School District.
