02/06/03 Roughriders Press Release

The Bismarck Roughriders of the National Indoor Football League have announced the signing of Safety Ronnie Kaymore.

The 6' 200lb Kaymore attended Nassau Junior College before moving on to Texas A&M Kingsville.  While at Nassau JC Kaymore recorded 201 tackles to go along with 5 interceptions.  Kaymore was also named a Junior College All American while at Nassau.  Kaymore moved on to Texas A&M Kingsville following his career at Nassau.  In his one year at Kingsville Kaymore put together a fine season with 54 tackles and 3 interceptions.

"Ronnie has good size and speed and should be a physical presence for us on defense," Head Coach Luke Shafer.  "Ronnie came recommended to us from Duane Walker, the defensive backs coach for the New York Giants, he had nothing but good things to say about Ronnie so we are very excited to be bringing him in," added Shafer.
