First session of Night Train tryout camp opens Friday

            The La Crosse Night Train of the National Indoor Football League will open its first weekend of invitation-only tryout camps this weekend beginning Friday, February 14, at the La Crosse Boys & Girls Club.

The three-day camp session is the first of two weekend sessions prior to the official start of training camp on March 1. The Night Train coaching staff expects more than 30 players to attend this weekend’s camp.

Among those expected to attend this weekend are quarterbacks Marrial Shields and Sean Hoolihan as well as newly acquired wide receivers Larry Henderson, Jose Banda, and Heath Garland. Current Night Train players Ben Antony, Willie Stephen, and Marvin Hooker are also slated to attend.

            The three-day session is open to the public. The dates and times for this weekend’s camp are as follows

  • Friday Feb. 14th 8pm-10pm

  • Saturday Feb. 15th 6:30pm-10pm

  • Sunday Feb. 16th 10am- 2pm
