Warriors announce 2003 team

After weeks worth of tryouts and hundreds of hopefuls the Utah Warriors have finalized their roster. Signees begin with last years NIFL Most Valuable Player, Danny Ragsdale. Danny played his high school football in Los Angeles where he was All League, All City, and All State for both his junior and senior years. He signed out of High School with the University of Redlands also in California. While there he was a 3 time GTE Academic All-American as well as All SCIAC for 3 years and the Conference M.V.P. his senior year. Danny also received the prestigious Gagliardi Award as the Division III M.V.P. as well as a Rhodes Scholar nominee.
Danny has spent the last 3 years playing Arena football. Last year while playing with the Bismarck Roughriders he threw for 64 touchdowns while only throwing 3 interceptions. He was voted the league M.V.P. while only playing in two thirds of the teams games.
The rest of the teams’ players include former Utes: Tony Alvarez, Mike Thomas, Luis Park, Jason Potter, Kautai Olevao, Henry Kaufusi, Rob Love and Omar Bacon. Dixie: John Watson, Jason Quinn, Darius McCormick, and Shawn Kojima. Weber State: Alfred Tukuafu, Junior Baker and Juron Junior. BYU: Jasen Ayou
