KSLQ, KWMO partner to air Renegade games

Radio network to broadcast home games from Family Arena live

April 12, 2002 - The RiverCity Renegades of the National Indoor Football League (NIFL) announced that KSLQ-FM and KWMO-AM will combine to broadcast the teamÕs home games throughout the 2002 season.  St. Charles area veteran sportscasters Daryl Fleer and Gary Baute will call the games.  In addition to the broadcasts, the stations will host a half-hour pregame show beginning at 7 p.m., with the live broadcast beginning at 7:30 p.m.

In addition to hitting the airwaves throughout the Metropolitan Area, Renegades games will also be available on the internet.  Fans can log on to www.kslq.com and catch all of the action live throughout the year.

KSLQ 104.5 FM will carry the first four games (including tomorrowÕs home opener against the Lake Charles Landsharks), with its sister station, KWMO 1315 AM, carrying the remaining three games in June and July.  KSLQ FM serves the Gateway City including: Franklin County, St. Charles County, Warren County, Southern Lincoln County and St. Louis County.  KWMO can be heard throughout Southern Warren County, St. Charles County, Northeast Gasconade County, Northwest  Jefferson County, Franklin County and St. Louis County.

The Renegades are a member of the NIFL and play their home games at the St. Charles Family Arena from April through July.  Season ticket packages are now on sale along with individual and group ticket sales available for any game during the season.  Season ticket packages range from $32-$160, while single-game tickets are $5, $8, $16, $18 or $22.  Most ticket prices have been lowered from last season and a family of four can enjoy Renegades football for less than $20.  For information or to purchase Renegades tickets, please call (314) 216-2000 or check out www.rivercityrenegades.com
