Dingle inks with Hounds

The 2002 NIFL National Champion Ohio Valley Greyhounds are pleased to announce the signing of Antonio Dingle.

Dingle, a 6'2", 310  pound defensive linemen from University of Virginia, will make his NIFL debut with the Greyhounds.

Antonio was selected in the 7th round of the 1999 NFL draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, later claimed off waviers by the Green Bay Packers and saw action in six games. After being placed on waivers once again, Dingle was claimed by the Carolina Panthers and saw action in three games. In 2000, He was allocated to NFL Europe by the Panthers and drafted by the Scottish Claymores.  Antonio recorded 7.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and 24 tackles as a Nose Tackle, he helped earn the Clay's a trip to the World Bowl.

After returning from Europe, Dingle spent time in 2002 with the Carolina Cobras and the New York Dragons of the Arena Football League
