Storm out duel Diesel 48-34

After trading scores in the game's first four possessions, the Sioux Falls Storm went on to a 48-34 win in NIFL action at Sioux Falls Saturday Night over the Tri-City Diesel.  Sioux Falls goes on to a 5-1 record, leaving the Diesel with its third loss in five games.

Tyrone Thomas snagged a Justin Coleman pass as the final buzzer blew, narrowing the point margin to the final 14.  Coleman completed 18 of the 30 Diesel passes thrown in the game, eight of which went into the hands of Jermaine Brooks.  Dale Van Housen caught six.

The Diesel scoring was highlighted by Darin Tankersley's 52-yard field goal and four-of-four PAT kicking.  Eric Ryan and Charles Verdone led the tackle chart for the Diesel.

Sunday, the 28th, the other won-loss record leader in the league comes to the Diesel Dome for a 7:05 game.  Sioux City Bandits visit the Diesel.
