Renegades to televise home games

April 29, 2002 – The RiverCity Renegades and News20 (NCN News) have joined forces to broadcast the team’s home games throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan Area on Charter Cablevision. The station will air all games at 7 p.m., Sunday night after home games. In St. Charles County, the games will air at 5:30 p.m., Monday and Thursday nights on Channel 47.
News20 broadcasters Brad Straubinger and Randy Gardner will be joined by former Renegades Defensive Coordinator (and current Pattonville High School Head Coach) Don Greco for the broadcasts.

The Renegades open a four-game home stand Saturday night against the Ohio Valley Greyhounds at the Family Arena. As a special promotion for this weekend’s game (May 4 at 7:30 p.m.), the Renegades are offering fans the opportunity to purchase five tickets for the cost of four tickets and $5 tickets may be purchased for just $4.

Renegades Drop To 0-5 With Divisional Loss To Tennessee
The RiverCity Renegades drew within 13-7 late in the first half, but couldn’t overcome the Tennessee ThunderCats in the second half of a 39-13 loss Saturday night. The defeat dropped the Renegades to 0-5 on the season and spoiled the debut of new Head Coach Bill Charles. Renegades quarterback Rick Little threw for two touchdowns, including an 18-yard strike to Moses Regular. Tennessee controlled the game with a strong rushing attack as Michael Cosey gained 112 yards and scored three touchdowns.
The Renegades will seek their first victory of the year, and first Atlantic North division win, in a rematch Saturday night (7:35 p.m.) at the Family Arena against the Ohio Valley Greyhounds. Ohio Valley defeated the Renegades 66-14 on April 5 in Wheeling, West Virginia. The Greyhounds lead the Atlantic North Division at 4-0 on the year.
Renegades Offer Fans Special Promotion For May 4
In honor of May 4 (5/4), the RiverCity Renegades are awarding fans with a special offer. Fans may purchase five tickets (at any price value) for the price of four tickets and fans may purchase $5 Upper Level End tickets for $4 apiece. Tickets may be purchased at the Family Arena Box Office or by calling the Renegades sales office at (314) 216-2000.
Groups of 15 or more may receive greater ticket discounts by calling the Renegades Group Sales department at (314) 216-2000.
