Storm to honor South Dakota State High School Football Champions

The Sioux Falls Storm of the National Indoor Football League (NIFL) is pleased to announce they will be honoring the South Dakota State High School Football Champions of each class during halftime on Saturday, May 10th during the Sioux City game. Each team will receive a plaque that will recognize the team’s accomplishment for their championship season.

The Storm will be presenting a plaque to the following teams: Class 9B, Tripp-Delmont Wildcats, Class 9A Avon Pirates, Class 9AA Plankinton/White lake Warriors, Class 11B Clark Comets, Class 11A West Central Trojans, and Class 11AA Yankton Bucks.

The Storm will finally return home on Saturday, May 10th when archrival Sioux City comes to town for the I-29 battle. May 10th is also “Ladies Night” at the arena where the first 1,000 women will receive a Storm visor. The Storm is coming off a hard 55-19 defeat against the Fort Wayne Freedom.
