Hounds stay home for Mother's Day

WHEELING, WV - The Ohio Valley Greyhounds are pleased to inform you of the weekly press conference. Coach Bonar's press conference will be held Tuesday at 2:pm in the Wheeling Civic Center.

The Hounds return to action Saturday May 18, 2002 in the Kennel (Wheeling Civic Center), kickoff is set for 7:35pm. Visiting the Hounds will be the defending NIFL champions, the Mississippi Firedogs.

The Greyhounds will begin preparations Tuesday night at the Kennel, practice is set to begin at 7:pm. All practice are open to the public.

The Greyhounds have released Defensive Linemen  Tolley Christopher. Christopher played OL in the 43-20 win in St. Charles.

The Greyhounds Defensive Linemen combined for a total of 7 sack vs St. Charles. Leading the way for the Hounds was Rookie sensation Dejuan Goulde (Toledo) with 3.5 sacks, Coger with 2 and Mike Marshall with 1.5. Combined with 7 QB hurries and 1 intentional grounding.

Bunny Jefferson - Out (torn ACL)
Chuckie Hython - Questionable (Bicept) pending Dr. release
John Rossmiller - Out (ACL)
Faraji Mason - Doubtful (Shoulder)
Birdie Dockery - Questionable (Back)
Mike Marshall - Probable (Knee)
