LandSharks' Allen out for at least six weeks

The Lake Charles LandSharks received the bad news Monday that starting running back Byron Allen has a broken bone in his left ankle and will miss a minimum of six weeks.
Allen was injured in the first quarter of the LandSharks' 26-15 win over the FireDogs Saturday night in Biloxi, Miss.
Depending on the success of rehabilitation, Allen could miss the rest of the season the team said in a press release.

The LandSharks (7-0) return to action at 7 p.m. Saturday when the play host to the last-place Oklahoma Crude (1-6)
