Night Train named tourism business of the year

            The La Crosse Night Train of the National Indoor Football League was tabbed as the La Crosse Area Convention & Visitors Bureau 2002 Tourism Business of the Year. The team was awarded the plaque at the LACVB’s 28th-annual meeting this afternoon.

            The award is given to one local business who has exemplified high standards of dedication in promoting tourism in La Crosse. This is the first time the award has been given to an indoor football franchise.

            Over 200 local business leaders attended today’s meeting which was highlighted by keynote speaker Craig Culver, Co-founder and President of Culver’s restaurant chain. General Manager Michael Grego and Sales Manager Adam Peterman accepted the award on behalf of the team.
