Road Swing Continues This Thursday

After dropping to the Tennessee ThunderCats this past Sunday, 51-6, the Tupelo FireAnts are gearing up for a mid-week journey to Enid, OK.  On Thursday, the 'Ants will take on the Oklahoma Crude at 7:05pm at the Chisolm Trail Expo Center.

A Closer Look at the Oklahoma Crude

Oklahoma, an expansion team in the NIFL this year is currently 1-7 on the season.  The Crude has the distinction of being the first team the FireAnts defeated this season, 19-10, back on April 6. 

As of late, Oklahoma is currently on a six game losing skid, with their only win of the season against the Houma Bayou Bucks, March 30th.

This past weekend, the Crude fell again, only this time at the hands of Lake Charles.  This is a team the FireAnts cannot take likely.  It was a close game back in April, and with the 'Ants coming off of a tough loss in Tennessee, the Crude will be looking for a 'W" on home turf.
