Riders add two to roster

05/22/03 Roughriders Press Release

The Bismarck Roughriders of the National Indoor Football League have announced the addition of two more players. The first being Colin Bryant. Bryant played his college football at Minnesota State Mankato, and finished his career with the Mavericks in 2001. The 6' 6" 250lb Bryant played tight-end for the Mavericks and will be used on both the offensive line and receiver positions for the Roughriders. Colin has also spent some time with the Sioux City Bandits of the NIFL. "Colin has both athletic ability as well as the experience we are looking for as we head into the playoff run," Head Coach Luke Shafer. The Riders have also added Defensive Lineman Ames Wilson. The Riders acquired Wilson from the Green Bay Blizzard of arenafootball2. The 6' 2" 260 lb Wilson played his college football at the University of New Mexico. "Ames is a very good defensive lineman, he's going to put a lot of pressure on opposing quarterbacks," said Shafer.
