Outlaws boost defense
06/12/02 Outlaws Press Release
The Outlaws just turned up the heat on their defense by adding Fau Mamea at defensive end. Fau has been one of the leading pass rushers in the NIFL the past two years playing for the Wyoming Cavalry.
As part of a trade agreement Billings will be suiting up Fau for their run at the playoffs. Billings and Casper have developed a very strong player cooperative effort during the past two seasons, with Billings sending two starters in exchange for Fau. Billings sent Trey Ransom (kicker) and Keith Dawson (receiver) earlier in the season in exchange for Fau when it became evident that Casper would not make the playoffs.
Fau will play his first game as an Outlaw this Saturday against Rapid City, in Rapid City, Kick off will be at 7:00 PM and can be heard on KBLG am. The Outlaws are excited to have their fans see Fau should they be lucky enough to have a home field first round playoff on July 13th at the Metra park arena.
