WHEELING, WV - The Ohio Valley Greyhounds have had the arguably best defensive ends for the last 3 years of indoor football.

Fred Coger led the IFL in sacks for the 1999 season. Coger set the IFL sack record with 19.

EJ Burt and Fred Coger terrorized Offensive linemen in the 2000 season for Ohio Valley.

Currently EJ Burt is leading the AF2 in sacks at Cape Fear, with 20 sacks. The current record for sacks in AF2 is 20 ½.

Dejuan Goulde recorded 1 ½ sacks against Winston-Salem Saturday night in a 86-42 victory. DeJuan is currently leading the NIFL with 20 ½ sacks and also in forced fumbles.

In other Greyhounds news,  kicker John Wehrle broke Bruce Reinecker’s single season PAT mark Saturday night versus Winston Salem. Reinecker kicked 79 PAT’s in the 1999 Smash season. Wehrle hit 11 PAT’s Saturday night, John sits at 81 for the season.
