 Eric Young returns to duty

The Lake Charles LandSharks are sad to announce the departure of WR Eric Young. Young returned to the LandSharks in Week 13 against the Austin Rockers and played in four games. Young is a Sergeant in the U.S. Army and had been out this season serving in the Middle East. Young took a leave of absence to play the remainder of the season for the LandSharks, but he was called back to duty late last week. According to Coach Kip Texada, “Eric Young will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers will be with Eric as he serves his country.”
