11/7/03 Beef Press Release

Omaha, Nebraska - Omaha Beef Football is pleased to announce 2003 NIFL Northern Division Offensive MVP Clinton Childs will be interviewed live on ESPN2's Cold Pizza this Wednesday Morning, November 12, 2003.

Childs led the NIFL in rushing during the 2003 season with 87 carries for 884 yards scoring 23 touchdowns.

Childs also played for the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers from 1993 to 1995 participating in 2 Orange Bowls and 1 Fiesta Bowl winning back-to-back National Championships.

The Beef office was notified Friday afternoon that a request had been received by the NIFL office from Cold Pizza for a player from the 2003 Northern Division Champion Omaha Beef Football team to make a live appearance on the show in New York next week.

"Clinton was a natural choice, he's been with the Beef since the beginning and if there is anyone who knows a great deal about the team and the league it's him," said Jon Bostick, General Manager.

The interview will air on Cox Cable Channel 30 between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM with a replay from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 12th.
