First round Prime Dancer tryouts completed

11/11/03 Beef Press Release

Omaha, Nebraska - Omaha Beef Football announce the successful completion of the first round of the 2004 Prime Dancer tryouts. On Sunday, November 9th, 24 Prime Dancer Candidates participated in a clinic at the Beef's new indoor practice facility, The Center. Under the watchful eyes of a distinguished panel of local dance and cheer judges, potential Prime Dancers were rated on their physical fitness, poise, technical skill and presentation. "We're looking for a serious commitment from our Prime Dancers. Not only are they expected to participate in game day activities; we also require at least 30 hours of charitable and community work and public appearances throughout the year. This is on top of regular Prime Dancer rehearsals, so the schedule can be very demanding," says Director of Operations Terri Ditzler.

The final round of tryouts will be held on Saturday, November 15th, when the team will be announced. The 2004 Prime Dancers will be officially unveiled on Saturday, November 22nd, during the tryouts for the 2004 Rump Roasters.
