11/12/02 Night Train Press Release

The La Crosse Night Train of the National Indoor Football League will hold a tryout for any former college or professional players on Saturday, January 11, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Sunday, January 12, from 8:00-11:30 a.m. at UW-Eau Claire Fieldhouse in Eau Claire, Wisc.

Players will be asked to perform 40-yard dash, shuttle run, standing broad jump, vertical jump, 200-yard weave shuttle, and other various drills and skills tests. 

            There is a one-time fee of $25 to tryout. Players showing outstanding abilities will be called back for training camp in La Crosse, Wisc., in February.

            The Night Train can hold up to 25 players on its active roster. Players are paid a weekly salary with a chance to earn incentive pay. For more information contact Head Coach Mike Brown at 608-782-1212.
