RiverHawks announce inaugural season Head Coach

Greenville, SC- The new National Indoor Football League (NIFL) franchise, Greenville RiverHawks, introduced the team’s inaugural season Head Coach at a press conference held today at the Bi-Lo Center.
Garrett W. Hagin, will bring 19 years of coaching and business experience to the RiverHawks organization. Hagin will lead the football team on the field as Head Coach while also working off the field as an Assistant General Manager. “Coach Hagin will be a great asset to our organization. We believe he is a coach who will command respect from the players and bring the sort of discipline necessary to create a quality football product in this city,” said RiverHawks General Manager and TIPS Director of Operations Garmez Parks.
Last season, Hagin served as Head Coach of the Arena Football League 2 Bossier City Battlewings. He also worked as a regional scout for the 2003 Grey Cup Champion Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League. During the 2002 football season Hagin served as the offensive coordinator for Mississippi College in Clinton, MS.
Coach Hagin will begin work immediately putting together the RiverHawks 2004 squad, which will include open tryouts over the next few months.
