Local football star signs with the Warriors

Cory Grow former Hunter High school all state wide receiver has signed with the Utah Warriors. After high school Cory accepted a scholarship to play for Dixie J.C. Where he played for two years starting every game and was selected as the M.V.P. in the Rotary Bowl. After numerous scholarship offers Cory selected Illinois State University. At ISU Cory was selected as All Newcomer of the year and led ISU to the teams’ first playoff birth in school history. He also started every game there both years. Upon completion of his eligibility he returned home and played for the Rattlers in Utah, He led the team in receiving and scored over 20 touchdowns. Last year Cory played with the Billings Outlaws who played in the championship game losing by a field goal in the last few seconds. He led both the Outlaws and the league in receiving yards.
Coach Leslie and the front office are elated at the signing of Grow. This brings the total number of players signed to 6
