WHEELING, WV -The Ohio Valley Greyhounds are pleased to announce the signing of former Washington and Jefferson wide receiver Todd Fry (Hannibal, Ohio/River).

Fry was a 2003 free agent signing of the Detroit Lions of the NFL, Todd was released by the Lions in August.

Fry is W&J's all-time reception leader with 186 career catches and is second all-time in career yards with 3,042. He scored 27 touchdowns in his four seasons (25 receiving, 2 rushing) and was named to numerous preseason All-America teams in 2002.

Fry hauled in 39 passes for 470 yards and four touchdowns in 10 games this past season in leading the Presidents (9-3) to the second round of the NCAA Division III playoffs despite being hampered by a ankle injury suffered in the fifth game of the season.

In 2002, Fry produced the top receiving year in Washington & Jefferson history as he caught a school-record 94 passes for a school-record 1,631 yards and 16 touchdowns. He finished second in the nation in receiving yards per game (135.9 ypg) and tied for 10th in Division III in receptions per game (7.8 rpg). Fry also returned 14 punts for 111 yards.

Following his record-breaking junior season, he was named to the First Team Hewlett Packard All-America Team, while earning second-team accolades from D3Football and third-team laurels from Don Hansen's Football Gazette.

Also a talented track and field athlete, Fry was named the Most Valuable Player at the 2000 Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships.
