Diesel sign four NIFL veterans

Kearney, Nebraska—The Tri-City Diesel is proud to announce the signing of four NIFL veterans, wide receiver, Sonte Wong, defensive back Dimetrius Ross, offensive lineman, Chris Blair, and running back, Prescott Hill.
Wong who played for the Bismarck Roughriders in 2003 is a standout at the wide
receiver spot. While with the Roughriders he played in 11 games and caught
18 passes for 160 yards and 4 TD’s.
While with Wong in Bismarck defensive back Dimetrius Ross snagged 5 INT’s and had 46 total tackles in only 6 games played.
Chris Blair is the first Tri-City Diesel player to be resigned for the 2004
season. He is an offensive lineman who played his college ball at the
University of Nebraska-Kearney. This will be his second year with the
Diesel.
The Diesel also signed running back Prescott Hill from the Omaha
Beef. Prescott was with the Beef for the entire 2003 season but seen
limited playing time behind running back Clinton Childs.
The Diesel also signed three players who will be making their indoor debut
with the Diesel; defensive backs Theo Johnson and T.C. Rittenbaugh as well
as wide receiver Brian Haywood.
Theo Johnson is 5’10” 180 pounds out of the University of Arkansas. T.C. Rittenbaugh comes to the Diesel from Victor Valley Community College. Wide receiver Brian Haywood, 6’0 185 pounds, played his college football at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
