BEAUMONT - The City Council on Tuesday officially brought indoor professional football here, and tickets could go on sale as early as next month.
Rangers get awards
(Denver, Colorado) In award ceremonies held tonight, Friday, September 13, 2002, the National Indoor Football League announced its all conference teams.
Three Louisiana Rangers received awards tonight. Jacobe Austin was selected as an all conference wide receiver, Mike Henry was selected as an all conference guard and Thomas Ogle was selected as the all conference linebacker.
The Rangers also received their Atlantic East Conference Championship trophy tonight.
The awards ceremony was held as part of the league meetings that are taking place in Denver this weekend.
