NIFL announces Players of the Week

Lafayette La… Week 11 Players of the Week have been selected.  From the Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week  for the second week in a row goes to Lloyd Clemons of the Ohio Valley Greyhounds.  Clemons had 35 carries for 168 yards (avg 4.8 yards per carry) and 3 touchdowns in their victory Saturday.  Defensive Player of the Week  goes to Warren St. Junious of the Lake Charles Landsharks.  St. Junious had four interceptions; one returned for a 15 yard touchdown, in Saturday’s game against the Riverhawks.  Special Teams Player of the Week honors goes for the second week to the Horsemen.  Craig Yeast had 6 returns for 112 yards and one touchdown in their game against the Greyhounds.

The Pacific Conference Offensive Player of the Week goes to Bismarck Roughrider Chris Schwab.  Schwab threw for 329 yards and 10 touchdowns in Saturday’s victory..  The Defensive Player of the Week is Utah’s Jeff Main.  Main had 11.5 tackles (9.0 solo) in the Warrior’s game against the Red Dogs
