I noticed in the article about the new Stingray coach that they also signed Quinn from Utah at WR.

Yeah, Utah's loss is Myrtle Beach's gain. Quinn instantly becomes a by-far #1

If MB can keep their D they had at the end of last year and add some O, they may be a team to contend.

He can't throw the ball to himself.

No, but he can make his quarterback look a lot better...just ask Franzer what good receivers can do!

I wonder why Jason made the change. His fam is here in Utah and he played college ball here. Also has many good friends on the team. Maybe he's worried about Ragsdale not returning to Utah or wants the chance to to be the #1 WR on a team. Maybe money or the chance to play for Brown. I even heard a rumor Utah is signing a WR from another team. These would have made Quinn the #3 or #4 WR. Anybody know for sure?

I think Jason is a great receiver, and I think regardless of whoever is brought in, he could be a #1 receiver on any team. Maybe he just wants to give it a go with a different team, and get noticed on the east coast. Plus, i heard the weather and beaches are lovely in the late winter, early spring in Myrtle Beach, as compared to Utah in the winter.

All i know is Quinn and Montoya asked for their releases and both recieved them. I do know there is talk of 1 or 2 recievers from other teams. I do know which ones have been talked to, but dont know if im at liberty to hand out that info. Quinn will be missed here. I talked to him at the end of last season and he said if he didnt make an AFL team he would be back here since he lived here so something must have happened. The Council will miss him and i have his signed jersey framed and hangin on my wall

I had to weigh in here as well! Much love Quinn! You're welcome in our endzone (ALMOST) any time, just check the ball at, "The Gate"!
We loved you as a player, and enjoyed you off the field as well! Best of luck, hope you tear it up at the BEACH!

Quinn has been an asset on all of the teams that he has played on. I am sure that the Warriors will miss him. And congrats to the Stingrays, you got a he11 of a player!!
Good luck to you Quinn, though I'm sure you don't need any luck.

Hey good to see you on here again Gin! Any ideas on where some of our OTHER favorite receivers will be scoring TD's this season?
